ERP system and company website become a successful unit
The online shop and ERP system are not only technically compatible, their visual image also forms a unified whole with the company website. Advanced import and export interfaces also ensure that data remains up to date at all times.
On account of the changeover to a new ERP system, the materials ordering system used by CFM as an Internet shop system was no longer functional as it had become outdated. The unattractive system interface was not user-friendly and also prevented non-commercial customers from purchasing. The new shop is integrated both technically into the ERP system and graphically into the company website – customers are not only able to submit their orders quickly, they also appreciate the attractive user interface.
All data is loaded from the ERP system via import and export interfaces. Stock levels and orders are updated every 10 minutes in a fully automated process or communicated to the ERP system for processing.
In Phase 2 of this project, in future the customer will obtain access to all invoices, delivery notes and order confirmations. CFM will also be able to prepare cost estimates for its customers. In this phase, the shop – which is currently only accessible by commercial craftsmen – will also be opened to private customers.
We provided CFM with the following services:

- Programming of interfaces for importing customer master data, article master data, scales of discount, stock levels, supplier master data, product images and delivery status of orders, as well as the export interface for the ERP system
