Technology Night

The 1st “Technology Night” in Cologne took place in June 2009. With the motto “Experience and Understand Technology”, visitors to the “Technology Night” in and around Cologne were greeted with a varied and informative programme. At this event, XPERIENCIA presented the stereoscopy system that was developed by the company for 3D films, 3D slide shows and 3D images in the main lecture theatre at Cologne’s University of Applied Sciences.

 

A 3D journey into space allowed visitors to experience life and work on the International Space Station (ISS) first-hand. The astronaut Ernst Messerschmid personally accompanied the audience on their journey. With support from an exciting presentation and fascinating 3D images, he described his experiences on board the space shuttle and explained which tasks have to be mastered in the area of manned space travel in the future.
