Huge event with enthusiastic visitors
In 2004, the huge “Night of the Astronauts” delighted more than 5,500 visitors to the Kölnarena in Cologne. In 2006, the second event in Barcelona was attended by more than 3,000 people.
XPERIENCIA developed and organised the ESA’s “Night of the Astronauts” together with its partners. The audience experienced the incomparable flair of astronautics; they were welcomed by many well-known astronauts and witnessed a spectacular laser show. XPERIENCIA produced not only the laser show but also the visual inserts and 3D stereo elements. In addition, a live link was set up with the ISS space station which greatly impressed all viewers at the event.
