About us
Design & Data is based in Cologne and develops digital visual communications solutions for commercial enterprises and scientific institutions. We see ourselves as service providers in the area of content production (film production, 3D animation, illustration, web design, print design), presentation, media archiving and hosting. Our solutions are used for training programmes, marketing events and public relations.
In order to offer our customers the highest possible quality and ensure trouble-free and impressive presentations, we develop the necessary hard- and software for the presentation of media content ourselves. We apply our years of experience in the area of 3D stereoscopy and video production with the aim of inspiring your audience and guaranteeing unforgettable occasions.
Design & Data also encourages scientists and developers of state-of-the-art technologies to explore new ways of communicating. We promote and improve communication between research institutions and the general public, first and foremost interested schoolchildren and students. Our aspiration is to maintain a good image for the world of science in the eyes of this target group and to motivate potential discoverers and the researchers of tomorrow. At Design & Data events, we counter the current lack of young scientists by enabling young people to gain an entertaining insight into the topics surrounding present-day science and garner first-hand experience of the world of research.
We readily make use of our contacts with space agencies around the world in order to find a renowned and competent speaker or discussion partner for your event. We work with astronauts from the space agencies ESA, NASA, ROSKOSMOS, CSA and JAXA, as well as former scientists and experts from these institutions. Design & Data also plans and realises free, 3D-supported teaching activities with science experts for schools and universities.
